Basic Function • Ensure daily lab operation in complaince with HSE regulation and standards, contributing to achieve the GoalZero target.• Conduct quality control testing on incoming materials, in-process, final products, and customer samples.• Support QA Manager in maintaining site quality systems and meeting customer requirements.• Oversee shift activities to ensure compliance with established procedures.Responsibilities and Accountabilities Follow Health, Safety and Enviornment standards, regulations and rules in daily lab or QA operations to achieve target of Goal Zero (i.e. Zero accident/ incident) at workplace. Ensure product quality and timely completion of product testing (In process inspection) of Masterbatches (white, filler, additives, colours and polypropylene compounds) Products and Product preservation (before and after the curing period) during the shifts. Ensure accurate and consistence testing procedure through validation and verification. Review and release the test reports under the guidance of QA manager. Give accurate color correction in colour masterbatch and polypropylene coumpounds grades to get target color shade. Daily verification and maintenance of the lab equipment, coordinate with maintenance team in case of any problem in lab equipment operation. Maintain 5S in QA lab area (process lab, analytical lab, thermal Lan and and sample retention area). Support quality testing of incoming raw materials (e.g. MFI, Ash content, moisture content and colour test etc.), inward RM testing is a key activity to ensure quality of RM received from suppliers. Support new product development trials. Maintain relevant documents as a part of new product testing. Ensure 100% audit compliance and monthly document matrix update as per the standard of ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, ISO 14001:2015 and its MIS reporting (daily, weekly and monthly). Ensure customer requirement and satisfaction by intervene production to correct quality problems & ensuring conformity to product requirements. Responsible for the SAP related activities & T-codes to ensure ontime clearance of finished goods and raw materials. Educational Qualification Bachelor degree or above in Chemistry / Polymer / Plastics OR Diploma in Plastics Technology or post graduate diploma in plastics processing and testing (CIPET) Work Experience Minimum 3 years laboratory testing experience in masterbatch manufacturing industry. ISO/IEC 17025 certified Laboratories experience will be added advantage.Critical Competencies and Behaviors Knowledge of quality system is necessary, such as IATF 16949:2016, ISO 9001:2015. Good command of Microsoft office, familiarity with QC software / data input systems. Familiar with QC tool, such as fish-bone chart, Pareto,etc. Good work attitude and high sensitivity for testing data especially off spec data.
