As Quality Technician, you will ensure existing and new products and processes comply with Customer, ISO/AS/IATF and NADCAP standards, liaise with internal and external stakeholders and help drive the development of quality systems and processes in a high-compliance engineering and production environment. You will need to be hands-on, technical, detail oriented and a great team-worker.
ROLE:
· Ensure product and process compliance and customer engagement
· Maintain, develop, audit and champion the Quality Management System and processes
· Liaise with Customers, Auditors and other relevant stakeholders
· Support the quality strategy and staff development, support production, engineering and sales functions
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE PROVEN SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING:
· Working to a high standard within quality teams
· Ensuring quality requirements in high compliance production environments
· Have time served in a similar role or hold a relevant qualification
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE YOU SHOULD IDEALLY HAVE:
· Experience in SME batch production of precision metal products, preferably within a highly regulated industry (aerospace, automotive, power gen, sub-sea and / or medical)
· Supported Quality Management Systems e.g. ISO9001, AS9100, IATF (experience of NADCAP, ITAR and supporting supplier audits would be desirable)
· Experience in dimensional measurements, capability studies and in-process SPC
· Knowledge of new product and process qualification and validation
· Completed FAIRs and PPAPs
· Experience in developing FMEAs, Control Plans and Standard Operating Procedures
· a collaborative approach and be a good team player
