Description Responsibilities: · Ensure compliance to company standards and specifications · Maintain calibration of quality control equipment · Test in-process and finished product samples for microbiological and analytical results. · Perform inspections across all stages of production, and maintain accurate reports · Prepare and maintain test data for review · Evaluate data, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards · Report findings using email, word, excel and current business software · Identify areas for quality control improvement · Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency · General cleaning duties in lab and plant environments · Other duties and projects as assigned Requirements Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required · General understanding of laboratory equipment · Follow Good Manufacturing (GMP’s) and Good Laboratory Practices at all times. · Minimum of 1-3 years of quality lab setting and/or food production experience or related degree. · Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally · Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision · Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail · Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information · Ability to utilize Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems · Possible mandatory overtime
