QA TEST LEAD

Our client is urgently looking for an experienced QA Test Lead to join their team on a permanent basis.
Please note, the role is hybrid, with 6 days per month required in Dublin. This at times will be a hands-on role.
You will be responsible for the management of the day to day test activities to deliver Quality Assurance of software implementations for new and existing projects. The test team will consist of manual testers and they will actively participate in the testing and quality assurance of the product, interfaces, integration and business process testing with surround systems.
The purpose of this role is to lead and mentor a team of test analysts throughout the software testing life cycle (STLC); creating test schedules, allocating tasks, supervising daily and tracking progress. The QA Team Lead will be expected to provide reports and escalate risks and issues to the Test Manager.

QA TEST LEAD - KEY SKILLS:

  • 3+ years’ experience leading QA teams
  • Proven experience working in a lead role in an offshore model
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Understanding and experience of working in SDLC model
  • Strong reporting skills; weekly & daily reporting, ALM reporting, progress and issue identification reports
  • Proven experience coaching and motivating a team
  • Highly experienced in test analysis and design
  • ALM Experience: Focus on reporting and tracking and use of Dashboard options
  • SQL server query Scripting skills
  • Strong MS Office skills; in particular Excel and Word
  • Experience with UK Financial Services would be very preferable
