SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.(Preferred but not required)
  • 3–5+ years experience in QA/QC or test pack engineering (preferably pharmaceutical industry).
  • Strong understanding of piping systems, welding processes, and QA documentation.
  • Familiarity with ASME, API, ISO, and other relevant standards.
  • Proficiency in interpreting P&IDs, isometrics, and project specifications.
  • Experience with test pack software or document management systems is a plus.
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop mechanical, piping, and system test packs (hydrostatic, pneumatic, flushing, etc.).
  • Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to define testing scope and boundaries.
  • Ensure inclusion of all required documentation: isometrics, P&IDs, test procedures, material certificates, weld logs, NDT

reports, etc.

  • Review test pack contents for completeness and compliance with project standards.
  • Validate weld completion, line clearance, and punch list close prior to test execution.
  • Ensure alignment with ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans).
  • Liaise with construction and QA/QC representatives.
  • Coordinate testing schedules and readiness with site teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of all test packs and their status.
  • Ensure traceability of all materials, welds, and inspection results.
  • Update and manage the test pack tracking system.
  • Ensure all tests are witnessed and signed off by required parties (QA/QC, client, third-party inspectors).
  • Compile final test pack dossiers for mechanical completion and handover to commissioning.
