QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • At least 3 - 5 years of experience with formal software testing as part of an agile software development team
  • Familiarity with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
  • Understanding of testing methodologies such as functional, regression, and usability testing.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and the ability to write queries for database validation
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and write complex test cases for existing and novel software applications

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Familiarity with Monday.com
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and related products
  • Experience testing Salesforce customizations and Apex applications
  • Experience testing React.JS websites and web applications
  • Experience testing WordPress websites and web applications

ROLE OVERVIEW

1031 Crowdfunding seeks a meticulous and results-driven Software Quality Assurance Tester to join our dynamic team. As a Software QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our software products meet the highest quality, reliability, and user satisfaction standards. You will write and maintain tests, execute test cases, identify defects, and collaborate closely with developers and product teams to deliver exceptional software solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Test Case Design and Execution:

  • Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.
  • Develop, document, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and scripts.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing on web, mobile, or desktop applications.

Defect Management:

  • Identify, document, and track bugs using defect tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
  • Retest resolved issues to ensure they meet quality standards.

Collaboration:

  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, IT, and other QA team members to ensure project success.

Process Improvement:

  • Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
  • Suggest and implement enhancements to testing tools and workflows to improve efficiency.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Create detailed and comprehensive test reports, summaries, and logs.
