We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented QA Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for hands-on testing of our software applications to identify bugs, inconsistencies, and usability issues. You will primarily focus on manual testing, ensuring the quality and functionality of both the user interface and API.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong attention to detail, adept at identifying edge cases and unexpected behaviors.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly document issues and provide feedback.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and testing methodologies.
• Strong collaboration skills, able to work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure seamless communication and effective testing strategies.
• Experience working with Java-based applications.
• Familiarity with Git and Jira for tracking issues and managing test cases.
• Comfortable working in environments with Jenkins and Docker deployments.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of QA automation tools and frameworks.
• Experience with QA engineering principles.

• Execute manual test cases to detect software defects on UI and API.
• Conduct exploratory testing, interacting with applications as an end-user would.
• Document and report bugs with clear reproduction steps.
• Ensure the user interface meets design and usability standards.
• Collaborate with development teams to validate fixes and improvements.
• Execute automated test scripts upon release and verify successful completion of test plans, confirming system functionality before releases and code drops
• Thoroughly test new features, assessing usability, performance, and reliability before release
• Ensure that feature tickets are well-defined and aligned with quality standards
