Company Description IOTA Group, a leading Swiss international technical consulting firm, is seeking a qualified QA/QC Lead - Pipelines to support projects for one of its clients in the UAE. Our client is a global multi-energy company engaged in the production and supply of energy worldwide, with a strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and responsible operations. In this job the service holder shall take ownership and manage all QA/QC activities in the Pipeline Installation EPC Contract and Line Pipe Procurements. Shall act as QA/QC focal point for the Pipelines Installation EPC Package. Maintaining Quality Management systems promoting best practice and continuous improvement in line with the GMP Quality Department Job Description What you will be doing? Job purpose Responsible and managing the implementation of QA/QC requirements in the Pipelines Package. Quality Assurance • Compliance to the Project Management System documentation and provide feedback to the GMP Quality team for improvement. • Ensure the contractor/supplier quality requirements as pe the EPC pipelines installation Contract • Execution of Quality activities as per planning, • Inputs to the EPC Contractor Equipment Criticality Assessments activities • Coordination of Vendor, Contractor Inspection activities , etc. • Coordination for Lesson learn implementation activities • Participate to the definition of the quality dashboard and KPI for the pipeline’s activities. Inspection/Contractor/Vendor Management • Ensure all Contractor/Sub-Contractor inspection and test plans are created, communicated, followed, and periodically reviewed/approved. • Ensure all the Vendors/Sub-Vendors ITPs are reviewed/approved • Attend Pre-Inspection Meetings as required • Ensure inspection performance metrics are maintained effectively by Contractor • Review the Inspection/Quality Surveillance reports generated by the Company Surveillance/Inspection personnel. • Follow-up NCR, deviation and concession and propose corrective actions to the Contractor for the benefit of the project. • Coordinate with SMEs (Welding, NDE, Painting/Coating), Inspection Coordinator and Engineering, Package Engineers and other relevant departments in both CTR and CPY organization • Coordinate with COMPANY Site QA/QC Superintendents Audit • Coordination in execution of audit schedules, • Plan, conduct and assist in compliance audits, self-audits and inspections. • Participate in key customer quality reviews. • Ensure all regulatory compliance and standards are met. • Maintain comprehensive audit, response and action matrices. Qualifications An Engineering degree At least 15 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Control within a Major Onshore Project environment Hands on experience in Major Onshore Pipelines Project as follow: Conversant in all the EPC phase activities Conversant in all Pipeline related items like line pipe, Bends, Valves, Pipeline Installation etc. Conversant in managing the Welding procedure Qualification campaign conducted by EPC Contractor Concersant in managing AUT and Other NDE methods qualification process Conversant in managing the Welder Qualification campaign carried by EPC Contractor Additional Information ▪ Contract Duration: 2 year renewable ▪ Place of mobilization: UAE ▪ Status (resident / rotation): Resident Open to all eligible candidates, with preference for those with Middle East experience.
