Job Description ROLE OVERVIEW Job Title: QC Analyst – Chemistry Job Type: 2 year FTC Location: Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork Hours: 39 hours per week Salary: €43,000 - €45,000 DOE Overview of the role Carry out testing of drug substances in accordance to the valid testing procedures and regulatory requirements Ensure laboratory equipment is well maintained, and calibrations are carried out at the designated frequencies. Review results generated by other analysts for compliance with requirements. Carry out method transfers and participate in the validation of analytical test methods as required. Write and maintain necessary documentation (test protocols, SOPs, instrumentation manuals and checkout sheets, method transfer reports,) according to the existing SOPs and cGMP standards. Lead Laboratory investigations and deviations if required. Assessment of testing results generated in the laboratory and close out of batch analysis. Qualifications You will also have the following… Science degree in Chemistry or related discipline. - Essential Equivalent education may also be considered. Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a GMP-regulated environment. – Essential Experience with analytical technologies and demonstrated troubleshooting skills (HPLC, GC, UV, PSD, XRPD, wet chemistry, dissolution, etc.). – Desirable Additional Information At SGS, we believe in rewarding our employees for their hard work and commitment.
