To learn more, please visit our company website: https://mckinneysl.com/ Position Overview: The QC Analyst I will perform project data review with the goal of assuring completeness of documentation and assuring data quality and accuracy. They will be competent operating within the laboratory’s Quality Management System (QMS). They will have read the methods for the assays they review and be familiar with the laboratory procedures for those methods. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Review of project data to ensure documentation is complete and laboratory activities were performed in compliance with the requirements of the quality management system for McKinney Specialty Labs (McKinney SL), the reference method, and the customers’ requirements. · Write and edit basic to moderately complex analytical reports for submission to clients and regulatory authorities. · Collect and interpret data whose intent is to track laboratory quality control data trends or to document the lab’s performance (control charts, proficiency sample data) · Read quotes and protocols for product testing to ensure requirements for testing and data reporting were met · Communicate with laboratory Group Leaders and Technical Management to resolve deficiencies or discrepancies in project documentation · Comply with McKinney Specialty Labs’ Quality Assurance Program and other policies · Comply with McKinney Specialty Labs’ Health and Safety Plan · Other duties as assigned Necessary Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily.
