QUALITY CONTROL ANALYST – PHARMA LAB - WICKLOW/ WEXFORD

At Jacksonstone Recruitment we have a new requirement for am experienced QC Analyst for our client’s facility in Wicklow/ Wexford.
The purpose of this Analytical Scientist job is to carry out analysis as scheduled/ requested by the QC Supervisor, You must be Degree Qualified with 2 years post qualification experience working in a batch testing lab using HPLC

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Batch testing pharmaceutical products using HPLC, GC etc and other relevant instrumentation
• Carry out all tests as instructed and scheduled in a timely manner
• Review and check documentation
• Ensure all relevant and current SOPs and Work Instructions are read, understood and signed prior to carrying out analysis
• Ensure calibration of all equipment in your area – the is an essential requirement of your job
• Exercise good housekeeping and GLP Practices on a daily basis
• Participate in cross departmental working groups/ project teams as may be requested from time to time

Essential Criteria:

• BSc in Analytical Science/ BSc in Chemistry
• 2 years experience working in a pharmaceutical/ medical diagnostic lab or QC role in a pharmaceutical company
• Strong Attention to Detail
• “Can-do” attitude is an absolute must alongside an excellent work ethic
