JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are currently seeking a Laboratory Analyst to support our client based in Port Talbot. This is a full-time, on-site role suitable for someone with prior laboratory experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in a laboratory setting is essential
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills
  Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:15pm, 37.5 hours/week)
  Salary: £25,950
  Start Date: Immediate start for the right candidate

• Prepare sterile media according to specific protocols
• Maintain adequate stock levels of laboratory disposables, consumables, reagents, and media
• Ensure all laboratory cleaning tasks are completed and properly recorded
• Dispose of laboratory waste in accordance with procedures
• Wash and re-sterilize laboratory glassware
• Conduct basic laboratory testing
• Accurately record results using internal systems
