Description

QC ENGINEER – ELECTRONICS MANUFACTURING

  • Location : Hougang / Buangkok (Nearest MRT)
  • Salary : S$3,200 – S$4,500/month (commensurate with experience)
  • Employment : Full-Time, Permanent
  • Working Hours : Mon–Fri 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma in Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 1 year of QC experience in electronics manufacturing or similar environment
  • Knowledge of SQA and audit processes (incoming, in-process, outgoing)
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001, 13485, 45001, and FDA standards
  • Understanding of IPC-A-610 or equivalent PCB/assembly standards
  • Exposure to QC processes for plastic molding, die casting, metal stamping, or machining parts

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • IPC or Six Sigma (Green Belt) certification is an advantage
  • Proficiency in SAP QM, Minitab, or other quality/statistical tools
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and effective communicator across teams

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with Process and Engineering teams to uphold quality standards
  • Conduct in-process and final QC (FQC) audits with proper documentation
  • Identify and resolve quality issues by supporting corrective/preventive actions
  • Develop inspection criteria and maintain quality plans in line with ISO and regulatory requirements
  • Support Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) and incoming material inspections
  • Participate in internal quality improvement initiatives and maintain QC documentation
