Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following as specified

Job Description

• Inspect steel doors and frames during production and final inspection.
• Check dimensions, welding, assembly, hardware, and surface finish.
• Ensure products meet approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Identify defects and coordinate corrective actions with Production.
• Prepare inspection reports, NCRs, and quality records.
• Monitor and reduce rework and rejected products.
• Ensure proper documentation and product traceability.
• Support internal and customer/third-party inspections.

Internal Qualifications

• Engineering or technical background.
• Experience in steel door/metal fabrication production.
• Knowledge of welding, fabrication, and assembly.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Knowledge of measuring tools and dimensional inspection.
• Good knowledge of QC procedures and documentation.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.

External Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant QC experience.
• ISO 9001 knowledge/certification – preferred.
• Welding Inspector certification
• Experience with fire-rated steel doors – an advantage.
