Description

Location: UAEKey Responsibilities:

  • Review and prepare Material Submittals in compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Inspect and verify materials, fabrication, and erection works related to steel structures.
  • Prepare and follow up on WIR (Work Inspection Requests) and MIR (Material Inspection Requests).
  • Ensure compliance with project QA/QC procedures, specifications, and international standards (AISC, BS, ASTM, etc.).
  • Coordinate with consultants and clients for inspections and approvals.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality documentation.
  • Report non-conformities and follow up on corrective/preventive actions.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience as QC Engineer in UAE steel structure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of material submittals, WIR, MIR, and QA/QC documentation.
  • Familiar with welding, painting, bolting, and erection quality requirements.
  • Good communication and coordination skills with consultants and project teams.
  • Preference will be given to candidates available in UAE and ready to join immediately.
