This location, combined with our benefits, provides a unique advantage for those looking to thrive in the semiconductor industry.   Job Title: QC Inspector – AXI/5DX (Swing Shift) Job Function: Manufacturing Quality Job Summary: The QC Inspector – AXI/5DX operates the AXI machine, performs quality inspections using AXI. Reports to Quality Engineering Manager and is in Newark, CA Primary Job Responsibilities 1. Operate the AXI machine * Responsible on the entire AXI operation/line support activities * Review AXI inspection for accurate, consistent detection of component placement and solder joint defects * Work closely with the processing and engineering teams to improve visual defect yields and resolve processing issues. 2. Perform AXI related quality inspection tasks * Using the AXI computer-operated machine, inspect components or feature chips, ICs, joints, text, connectors, etc. * Using magnification aids inspect to IPC-A-610 standards. * Read and interpret assembly drawings, bills of material (BOMs), MPI, ECN, Deviation and other manufacturing documentation related to inspection. * Load AXI programs per instructions * Perform AXI inspection for accurate, consistent detection of SMT paste, component placement. 3. Support engineers and production operators with equipment training, data collection and system evaluations * Assist engineers in data collection and engineering evaluations. * Support improvement initiatives and participates actively to improve work environment (5S) Other duties and responsibilities related to AXI Support and Production as assigned. Required Education Experience: 1. Minimum 3 years of experience operating 5DX or AXI equipment 2. High School Diploma 3. Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485 & ESD 4. IPC-A-610 Certified  Salary Range: $18.00 - $27.00/ Hour
