Day to Day, your role will include:Ensure the approved Project Quality Plan (PQP) is being adhered to on site.

  • Inspection of surface treatment/fire proofing, insulation works in progress to ensure compliance with project specified requirements.
  • Required to perform QC activities relevant to Coating/Fireproofing/Insulation work performed by Contractors on site
  • Ensure planned Inspections are carried out on time and any deviation from the Engineering deliverables, Specifications and Standards are identified, recorded and reported in a timely manner to the QC Lead.
  • Retain and maintain the required documentation for all necessary QA/QC activities. Eg. Inspection/Audit/Surveillance reports and findings.
  • Maintain the required competencies and work standards required, and where necessary initiate training to maintain skills.
  • Provide support to the Kent Supervisors and Construction team and perform regular surveillance inspection.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Coating/Insulation/Fireproofing providers
  • Attend and participate in site, company and client meetings as required by the QC Lead/Supervisor
  • Ensure all test documentation, records, as-builts and related commissioning and handover documentation are completed and are maintained, kept up-to-date and are traceable and retrievable
