Description The Quality Control Inspector I examines incoming and outgoing parts and supplies to ensure they meet manufacturing standards. Inspect products using gauges, coordinate measuring machine, scales, oscilloscope and vision prior to shipment. Generate spreadsheets for data collection Reconcile and file final inspection documentation for shipments Interact with source inspector as needed Inspect raw materials Requirements Technically proficient and detail oriented Organizational Skills Problem Solving/Analytically minded Time Management Initiative Able to learn to use and read a tape measure. Able to learn to use and read micrometers, caliper, and use calibration gauges. Able to learn to use and read additional measuring tools. Learn how to work effectively with minimal supervision. Learn how to communicate with quality, manufacturing, and engineering to solve problems. Learn how to organize a demanding workload to ensure all products leaving the facility have been properly inspected and are of the highest quality.
