Ichor Systems has an immediate opening for a QC Inspector at our Osakis, MN facility. Dental, Vision, Disability Insurance – Plus paid holidays, including a floating holiday Tuition Reimbursement – For approved professional development Competitive Pay – Includes shift differentials for swing shift and weekends Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform receiving, set up, in-process, and final inspection activities as specified by Ichor control plans using inspection tools such as microscopes, micrometers, vision systems, comparator, calipers, CMM machines, and drop gages. Complete inspection record as specified by product control plan and work instructions. As needed, perform open layout inspections, fulfilling product control plan and First Article requirements. Provide CMM programming support for running 1st time programs, tuning existing programs, and diagnosing issues as they arise. Light programming may be requested Provide mentoring and training to other inspectors Provide additional information and clarification for the machinists as requested. Develop reports and tracking measurements as needed. Other duties as required Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Demonstrated basic to mid-level print reading. Demonstrated PC-DIMS or Calypso experience in maintaining and tuning programs, and/or Final Inspector Certification. Ability to multi-task and work with others in a fast-paced environment. Highly developed problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. Customer-oriented and service-minded. Basic understanding of Microsoft Office software packages and Windows operating systems, i.e. MS word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook. Desired Education, Certifications and Experience Associate degree in Manufacturing or Quality related field preferred, not required. 2+ years of experience in Manufacturing Quality Control, or equivalent. ASQ Certified Inspector preferred. ASQ Certified Technician, required. (or must obtain during 1st year of employment) For candidates based in Minnesota: The pay range for this position is $17.12 - $29.09 per hour. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
