Job Title: QC Lab Technician
Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Pay: $21–$24/hour (Based on experience)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.S. degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of one year experience in the food or cosmetics industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Assist in collecting samples of products and maintaining the product/raw material testing/stability specifications.
• Submit lab testing chain of custody forms.
• Keep all QC testing logs updated with current test status.
• Perform aseptic sampling procedures.
• Coordinate shipment of samples to the customer or prepare for customer pickup.
• Maintain an updated list of current projects and samples shipped.
• Organize incoming raw material samples to appropriate projects/R&D Sample Inventory.
• Scan and file COAs, MSDS, and specification sheets for incoming raw material samples.
• Assist Regulatory and Quality departments with product and ingredient information as needed.
• Research and stay up to date with ingredients, clinical data, and products on the market.
• Complete other projects as needed (e.g., assisting in validation activities that require testing).
• Conduct environmental monitoring/swabbing.
• Utilize computer software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Cross-train in additional areas of Quality Control / QC Inspection.
