Job Description As the QC Sampling Team Lead – Raw Materials, you will oversee a team responsible for sampling and inspecting raw materials used in biopharmaceutical manufacturing. You’ll ensure compliance with GMP standards, coordinate daily operations, and support team development while maintaining a strong presence in cleanroom environments. Key Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to: Laboratory Duties Perform sampling of solid and liquid raw materials per GMP protocols Inspect containers and document findings using LIMS Calibrate instruments and maintain lab supplies Gown into ISO 8+ cleanroom environments using sterile technique Schedule and execute sampling tasks weekly, monthly, and quarterly Maintain accurate documentation and participate in training activities Leadership Duties Supervise and support team performance and productivity Coordinate scheduling, task allocation, and onboarding of new hires Lead training efforts and perform peer reviews of data Investigate deviations and implement corrective actions Communicate updates and findings in team meetings Assist with equipment maintenance and administrative communications Cleanroom Requirements No cosmetics, nail polish, or jewelry permitted Hair and facial hair must be neatly contained Physical demands include lifting 25+ lbs, standing/walking for extended periods Qualifications Preferred 1+ years of cGMP experience Experience with LIMS Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to multitask and work independently in a client-facing environment Required Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field, or equivalent experience 1+ years of leadership experience Authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship Additional Information What to Expect in the Hiring Process: 10-15 Minute Phone Interview with Region Recruiter 45-60 Minute Virtual Interview with Manager and/or Group Leader 30 Minute Virtual Interview with Site Director Additional Details: This is a full-time, onsite position based on a first-shift schedule (Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm), with overtime required as needed.
