QUALIFICATIONS / CHARACTERISTICS:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a food processing facility
  • Knowledge of HACCP principles and Good Manufacturing Practices considered an asset
  • Detail Oriented.
  • Must positively interact with fellow employees and exhibit a strong work ethic.
  • Capable of working in a moderate to cold working environment.
  • Ability to stand or move continuously for extended periods of time.
  • Capacity to multi-task and adapt to fluctuating work requirements
  • Health and safety Oriented
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $21.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

  • 8 hour shift

Responsibilities
  • Performing production line process checks
  • Maintain accurate records of process checks
  • Conduct raw material evaluations, product evaluations, label verifications
  • Conduct pre-op and/or mid shift sanitation checks as needed
  • Monitor employee GMPs
  • Report food safety and quality issues to QA Manager
  • Flexible in cross-training and performing process checks on all production lines as assigned by QA Manager
  • Other duties as assigned by QA Manager
