REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must practice good/safe housekeeping.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must comply with PPE requirements.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics is required. This includes knowledge of schematic symbols, panel components and general wiring practices.
  • Understanding of AC and DC circuits is required.
  • Previous control panel building/testing experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience with 480V industrial panels is highly preferred
  • Current UL MTR certification is highly preferred-Includes shift differential
  • Employee must be proficient in both spoken and written English
  • Ability to distinguish colors
  • Computer skills to include Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, work may also be required in a seated position.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect panels for fit and finish.
  • Continuity checking of electrical circuits and troubleshooting of wiring issues
  • Variable frequency drive programming
  • Programmable logic controller flashing and setup
  • Attention to detail and self-motivated
  • Must be able to accurately complete test reports and other paperwork
  • Function testing of relay logic and PLC input/output to test drive, motor starters, etc.
  • Contribute to the company’s continuous improvement processes
