Now hiring for both Entry-Level Quality Control Technicians -AND- EXPERIENCED Quality Control Inspectors to work at a Cable manufacturing company in Milton, FL. POSITION DESCRIPTION: We are an ISO-9001 Certified OEM manufacturer. We are hiring for both Entry-level Quality Control Technicians (to work on the production line) -AND- Knowledgeable & Experienced Quality Control Inspectors (to maintain quality and integrity). Both positions will report to the Quality Assurance Manager. The selected individual/s will be part of a fast paced & rapidly growing global manufacturer. Typical duties include (but are not limited to) performing the daily inspections of ALL incoming materials, in-process materials, final assembly materials, as well as completing all necessary reports. We truly believe that our company is a rewarding career destination. COMPETENCIES & SKILLS: Must be able to read basic electrical drawings and/or assembly drawings. Must be able to use a variety of measurement equipment such as tape measures, calipers, gauges, and micrometers (in both Metric and Standard units of measure). Must be proficient with computers. Previous experience w/ wire, cable, wire harnesses, elec. assembly/testing is PREFERRED. Previous ISO-9001 (or comparable QMS experience) is PREFERRED. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform incoming inspection on specific products identified by management as critical. Perform daily in-process inspection. Perform basic lab tests on random samples of incoming materials for lab testing as required by management. Perform daily finished goods inspection Perform equipment calibrations as required. Complete all documentation as it relates to the daily inspection process or lab test. Assist in the processing of Returned Goods for the field and issue appropriate reports. Other duties as deemed appropriate by management. EXPERIENCE: MINIMUM of 1 year experience with reading/interpreting basic electrical assembly drawings. MINIMUM of 1 year experience working with computers AND proficient with Microsoft Office programs. MINIMUM of 1-Year of Quality Control experience is preferred but NOT required. EDUCATION: High school Diploma (or equivalent) is required. PAY: Starts at: $15/hr. --- $18/hr. (Depending on the position selected for Technician -OR- Inspector) SCHEDULE: Full-Time --- All shifts are 12-hr's Day Shift = 7:30am - 7:30pm Night Shift = 7:30pm - 7:30am ***EXPECT to work 60+ hours a week*** All hours worked over 40 hours will be paid at Time-and-a-half REQUIREMENTS: Must have Steel-toed boots/shoes. Must have RELIABLE transportation to Milton FL. Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
