Description
We’re looking for a Quality Control Testing Technician who takes pride in accuracy and enjoys being hands-on in a manufacturing environment. In this role, you’ll make a meaningful impact on the quality and reliability of specialised materials used in high-performance industries. You’ll play a key role in product and materials testing, ensuring every part that leaves the site meets rigorous quality standards. You’ll also help keep critical documentation and procedures on point. QC Technician Permanent, Full-time £25,000 – £27,000 Nottingham (On-site) Working Hours: Weekly rotating shifts Monday to Friday | 08:00 – 16:00 & 10:00 – 18:00 QC Technician Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with BS EN 9100, BS EN ISO 14001 and BS EN ISO 45001 standards across all activities. Conduct QC testing on manufactured products. Perform inspection of incoming materials. Maintain QC databases and documentation to ensure complete traceability. Track and maintain KPIs, ensuring performance targets are achieved. Support creation and continuous improvement of internal documentation and development of test methods and programmes. Assist in root cause analysis and corrective / preventive actions for NCRs. Maintain clean, organised and properly equipped working areas. Provide departmental support to ensure continuity during absence/holiday periods. Carry out additional duties to support business needs. QC Technician Requirements: Strong attention to detail. Experience in a quality or inspection environment. Knowledge of composites and test equipment (advantageous). Competent user of Microsoft Excel and Word. Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills. Comfortable working both autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
