JOB SUMMARY: The QC Lab Tech is responsible for pulling samples of block and aggregates, inspection of truck beds, entering information in the system. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Pull samples of block and aggregate. Samples up to 50 pounds per sample. Inspection of all truck beds. Responsible for organizing, planning, coordinating, facilitating and managing aspects of the QC lab. Mixing color to order, verification of the design. All other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills and professionalism when working with employees, customers, and business associates at all levels. Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Experience in working with state and federal documents. Ability to work independently and as a team. Ability to work extended hours during peak season. WORK ENVIRONMENT: · Perform all work in accordance with YBP Safety policies. · The work is performed outdoors and/or indoors, enduring heat, cold, rain, dust, wind, and other elements. · Capable of operating various types of heavy equipment and/or machinery. PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES: · Physical demands include but are not limited to walking, sitting, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. · Capable of working at height and in confined spaces. · Capable of shoveling wet, sticky, material for extended periods of time.
