Description Quality Control Technician Reports to: Quality Control Management Job Summary: The Quality Control Technician organizes and maintains QC records, samples in-coming raw materials and finished goods, and supports manufacturing and quality control operations. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Duties/ Responsibilities: Provides entry-level support to manufacturing and quality control departments. Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GMP guidelines. Approve and maintain incoming materials to be used in manufacturing. Ensure Compliance with all NADAs/ANDAs Responsible for maintaining approved stability programs. Ensure that assigned products meet quality requirements for the customer and the company. Maintain records, reports and samples. Preform testing on incoming materials and finished goods as necessary. Preforms other duties as assigned. Required Skills/ Abilities: Ability to work in a team setting Ability to work independently at times Ability to multitask and prioritize Attention to detail Excellent listening and communication skills Ability to learn production sequences and the company’s quality standards Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Familiarity with SAP Business One Preferred Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent education Two years of related experience, preferably in quality control Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to traverse the production facility Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time Must be able to travel to off-site warehouses throughout the day
