We’re hiring a QC Lab Technician to support our Quality Control and production teams by testing materials, maintaining lab standards, and ensuring our products meet specifications. Job Responsibilities Perform Quality Control testing on asphalt and aggregate materials Collect, prepare, and evaluate material samples (up to 50 lbs) Inspect truck beds and materials for quality and compliance Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient QC laboratory Mix and match product colors to customer specifications Complete required Quality Control documentation Assist with additional lab or plant duties as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Quality Control, lab, manufacturing, or construction materials experience preferred but not required Willingness to learn — training provided Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong attention to detail and communication skills Flexible to work extended hours during peak production seasons Work Environment This role offers variety — no sitting at a desk all day Combination of indoor lab and outdoor plant work Exposure to varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, dust) Safety-focused manufacturing environment Occasional interaction with heavy equipment and machinery Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Able to shovel dense or wet material when necessary Benefits & Perks Competitive benefits package Training and career development opportunities Employee appreciation programs Long-term job stability with a family-owned company Duties and responsibilities may change based on business needs.
