JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS Duties include but are not limited to  Develop departmental objectives based on the Business Plan in order to reach the targeted objectives, and set Corrective Actions accordingly.  Develop Quality Plan by product line and align the team accordingly in order to organize QC tasks; and perform spot audits (inline inspection and lab testing) to ensure that Quality Plan parameters are being correctly followed.  Review daily Non-Conformity Reports (NCR), prior to be dispatched to the concerned Production Section Head for RC and CA setting, as well as External Rejection reports prior to be dispatched to TQA Manager and Purchasing.  Prepare monthly QC report displaying NCRs, QC related complaints, achievements and set backs’ analysis and relay it to the TQA Manager in order to assess QC performance.  Check and approve QC shift schedule in order to ensure adequate QC manpower distribution.  Follow up on Quarantined WIP/FGs and RM/ORM in the ERP system in order to avoid variances and control dispatches.  Investigate Customer Complaints related to QC, alongside QC Team leaders and align the team on complaint outcome and set corrective or preventive actions to prevent recurrence.  Review Trial Reports prepared by QC Lead Officer (for Trials and competitors’ samples) in order to ensure adequacy of their contents.  Carry-out external calibration tasks by communicating with external calibration bodies and follow up on the entire Calibration Master File to ensure that all calibration activities are being properly done and on time.  Stay up-to-date on the testing methods by continuously browsing the web for any new editions in order to ensure that all testing activities are carried out according to the latest normative testing methods.
Responsibilities
