QC Welding Fabrication Inspector – Ventia Workshop -Ventia’s workshop is calling—bring your trade, your pride, and your eye for quality - Are you a detail-driven Fabrication professional with a passion for welding quality and standards? Join our high-performing team at Ventia’s NSW Industrial Workshop and play a key role in ensuring the integrity of our fabrication and welding operations. About the Role As our QC Welding Fabrication Inspector, you’ll be responsible for overseeing welding and fabrication quality control activities, supporting project execution, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and client specifications. You’ll work closely with trades, apprentices, subcontractors, and clients to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety What You’ll Need to Succeed: • A basic fabrication trade qualification (Cert III or higher) • Weld Australia International Institute of Welding Inspector – Basic (or equivalent) – essential • Weld Australia Welding Supervisor AS1796 Certificate 10 (or higher) – essential • Strong knowledge of welding processes (MMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW) and materials (Carbon Steel, Stainless, Aluminium) • Experience in reviewing ITPs, weld procedures, and quality documentation • Excellent communication and documentation skills • A proactive, safety-first mindset Bonus Points For • Experience in the petrochemical, oil & gas, or heavy industrial sectors • Familiarity with non-destructive testing (NDT) and post-weld heat treatment (PWHT) • Microsoft Office proficiency and strong organisational skills If you can spot a dodgy weld from 10 metres away, we want you!
