Description

Sales Manager
In this role, you will be responsible for driving the growth and performance of the Quality Control Systems (QCS) business within the Pulp & Paper (P&P) domain across the European region. The QCS Business Driver acts as the central point of contact for Local Business Line (LBL) units and coordinates with Front-End Sales, Bid & Proposal teams, Global Product Management, internal suppliers, regional Operations, and other regional Business Drivers.
You will support LBLs in improving their sales, margins, market share, and customer satisfaction by aligning local efforts with regional and global strategies, ensuring consistent execution and impact.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To be successful in this role, you bring:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales or business development within the process industry, automation, or digital solutions space. Experience in the Pulp & Paper sector and specifically in Quality Control Systems is highly preferred.
  • A proven track record of value-based selling and a deep commercial understanding of solution selling in industrial environments.
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a matrixed, global organization. You are comfortable leading through influence rather than authority.
  • A mindset geared toward thought leadership within the QCS and P&P domains, or the willingness to grow into such a role.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; additional European languages such as German, French, Swedish, or Spanish are considered an advantage.
  • Residency in a Western European country or a willingness to relocate. This role involves frequent travel within Europe (nearly every week or every other week), with occasional travel outside the region.
