QE Automation Engineer Qualifications • 8 + years of QA experience with agile practices • Expertise in Writing, Enhancing and Executing automated scripts for test cases • Experience in Selenium and Rest assured framework • Experience Customization of automation frameworks using Keyword Driven, Hybrid. • Hands on experience in Java and Oops concepts • Expertise in developing and executing the manual test scenarios and test cases. • Extensive Experience in Object Identification using XPath or other object locators. • Good Experience in Unit Test frameworks like JUnit, TestNG and build tool like Maven. • Debugging and executing the Automation scripts. • Experience in version control tool like SVN/GitHub • Good Communication Skill and Proven leadership skills Roles & Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver for UI testing. Build and execute REST API test cases using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or HTTP client libraries in Java. Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Collaborate with QA leads and developers to define test strategies, test plans, and automation scope. The annual salary for this position is between $ 53,477/- to $ 92,500/- depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
