SOFTWARE ENGINEER II - QA & TEST AUTOMATION

As a Software Engineer II - QA & Test Automation, you will spearhead our commitment to product quality and a shift-left testing approach. You will ensure software application quality and reliability by devising testing strategies and implementing automated frameworks.

THE SKILLS YOU WILL BRING INCLUDE:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in testing Enterprise Web Applications. Experience and interest in Agile Project Management is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of modern web development concepts.
  • Experience with automation frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright.
  • Working knowledge of JIRA or equivalent defect tracking tools.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Software Engineer II - QA & Test Automation, is a part of our Product and Engineering team who are at the forefront of keeping our customers safe from attacks and breaches. In this role you will be focussed on helping our customers seamlessly manage their security solutions as effectively and efficiently as possible, and ensuring our products are delivering a secure experience. You will have the opportunity to further broaden your skills surrounded by a team of incredibly smart and experienced Engineers, whilst getting the opportunity to mentor others.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Interact with various stakeholders, such as Design and Product Management, to come up with clear requirements.
  • Understand each product under test, including its use cases, execution/data flow and configuration to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Identify test cases for automation, develop new tests, and oversee test coverage and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with developers and infrastructure engineers to improve test automation pipelines.
