Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for Web, API, and Mobile applications.
• Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to identify test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline and ensure continuous quality validation.
• Monitor test results, analyze failures, and provide detailed reports on quality metrics and defects.
• Ensure cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility for Web and Mobile applications.
• Mentor junior QA team members on automation best practices.
• Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices in test automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation for Web, API, and Mobile.
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#).
• Experience with Web automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Expertise in API testing/automation using tools like RestAssured, Postman, Karate, or Pact.
• Hands-on experience with Mobile automation using Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest.
• Experience in designing test frameworks from scratch and maintaining scalable solutions.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with Cloud and Container environments (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Knowledge of BDD/TDD practices and frameworks like Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG, or Mocha.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, k6).
• Exposure to security testing practices.
• Knowledge of observability & monitoring tools for quality insights.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
