This role partners closely with the client, Project Manager, POS vendor, and payment provider to ensure release readiness and predictable delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute the UAT phase in close collaboration with client stakeholders, PM, POS vendor, and payment provider. Define, document, and own the QA strategy across manual and automated testing. Design and implement a test automation architecture aligned to the POS solution, payment provider, and supporting systems. Develop, maintain, and execute automation scripts for regression and critical-path workflows (UI and API). Coordinate defect triage, prioritization, and re-testing with vendors and internal delivery teams. Mentor QA Tester(s) and promote best practices in test design, execution, and documentation. Provide clear go/no-go recommendations for UAT sign-off and release readiness. Key Skills & Experience Strong experience leading UAT for POS, payments, or retail systems (fuel experience is a major plus). Proven hands-on experience with test automation across UI and API layers. Solid understanding of payment flows, including authorizations, reversals, refunds, and edge cases. Ability to translate business workflows into clear, executable test strategies. Comfortable working across vendors, client stakeholders, and cross-functional delivery teams. Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. Success Looks Like UAT runs predictably with clearly defined entry and exit criteria. Critical business workflows are covered by automation, not just manual testing. The client is left with a maintainable, scalable automation foundation — not throwaway scripts.
