Key Duties & Responsibilities

Health & Safety Compliance

  • Maintain and implement the Occupational Health & Safety Policy.
  • Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety audits.
  • Lead accident/incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Ensure statutory training, certifications, and permits (e.g. GA1, Safe Pass, MEWP, WAH) are maintained.
  • Support development and review of risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and permit-to-work systems.

Environmental Compliance

  • Maintain and monitor environmental obligations in line with the Environmental Policy.
  • Liaise with site teams to ensure waste, energy, and resource management follow main contractor systems.
  • Assist with monitoring sustainability initiatives and compliance reporting.

Quality Management

  • Maintain and implement the Quality Policy and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Support process compliance and improvements to ensure customer requirements are met and exceeded.
  • Coordinate customer feedback processes and analyse results to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage supplier evaluations and subcontractor assessment forms, maintaining an approved supplier register.
  • Support project teams in reporting and resolving non-conformances (NCRs), and track corrective/preventive actions.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement across all company operations.

Legal & Regulatory

  • Maintain the Legal & Compliance Register and ensure updates are reviewed annually.
  • Ensure company compliance with relevant statutory, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support management in demonstrating compliance during audits, inspections, and client reviews.

Integrated Management System (IMS)

  • Participate in the internal audit programme across Quality, Environmental, and H&S systems.
  • Monitor IMS objectives and report performance at management review meetings.
  • Assist with planning and carrying out management review meetings, ensuring actions are tracked and completed.
  • Ensure effective document control and record keeping across the IMS.
  • Drive continual improvement in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Relevant QEHS qualification (e.g. Level 7/8 OHS, Quality/Environmental management training, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate audits, compliance checks, and supplier/customer feedback processes.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills across all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience in construction/electrical contracting sector preferred.
  • IT literacy (MS Office, SharePoint, database/reporting tools).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €35,000.00-€55,000.00 per year
