  • Proven experience in a similar in a Health, Safety and Environment role.
  • Familiar with Management Systems, Auditing Tools, Crisis Management, Incident Investigation and related QHSE processes
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

You will support Quality, Health, Safety, Environment and Security activities for our coatings manufacturing site at Deeside to ensure that the Quality & HSE objectives are met. This will involve implementing company procedures / guidelines as well as deploying / sustaining a strong HSE culture across the site.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the QHSE&S Manager with planning, coordinating and implementing effective Quality & HSE policies, guidelines and procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on issues covering company arrangements & standards for health & safety.
  • Provide guidance on health, safety & environmental matters.
  • Help with specialist health & safety assessments.
  • Undertake inspections of workplaces & produce accurate reporting.
  • Provide both formal/informal health & safety training.
  • Support accident/incident investigations.
  • Conduct risk & occupational exposure assessments.
  • Support QHSE&S Manager to follow up regulatory permits related to HSE&S.
