Full job description

Responsible for implementing and monitoring HSE standards across company facilities and project sites, ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with company and UAE safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular HSE inspections and identify workplace hazards and unsafe practices.
Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE awareness training for employees.
Ensure compliance with PPE, Permit-to-Work (PTW), and safe working procedures.
Prepare and maintain Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), JSA/JHA, and HSE records.
Monitor high-risk activities such as work at height, hot work, lifting, electrical work, and installation activities.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and recommend corrective actions.
Conduct emergency drills and inspect fire, first-aid, and other safety equipment.
Ensure proper housekeeping, chemical handling, waste management, and environmental compliance.
Coordinate HSE requirements with project teams, supervisors, subcontractors, and clients.
Prepare HSE reports and ensure timely closure of safety observations and corrective actions.

Requirements

Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification preferred.
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant HSE experience, preferably in manufacturing, construction, signage, or installation.
Good knowledge of UAE HSE practices and safety documentation.
Strong communication, inspection, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office.
