We are currently seeking an experienced QHSE Manager to join our team at our head office in Glasgow. This is a key leadership role with the opportunity to drive continuous improvement across our Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental functions.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Experience in Quality Assurance, preferably within construction or industrial services
  • Experience in a management or supervisory role
  • Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001
  • Trained and experienced in Quality System Auditing
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships across departments and externally

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree or HNC in Quality, Engineering, or a related scientific/technical discipline
  • Completed a recognised Quality System Auditing course
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015
  • Lead and manage internal audits, non-conformance investigations, and CAPA processes
  • Oversee risk assessments and support risk management initiatives
  • Manage supplier approvals and conduct supplier audits
  • Provide guidance on regulatory and standards changes affecting operations
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities
  • Redesign and implement more effective quality and compliance systems
  • Lead and develop the QA team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Ensure company certifications are maintained and all relevant documentation is up to date
