Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain the project HSE plan and safety procedures.
  • Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations, client requirements, and company HSE standards.
  • Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks for site personnel and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and maintain risk assessments, method statements, and permit-to-work systems.
  • Monitor high-risk activities including hot works, working at height, lifting operations, confined spaces, and electrical works.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE by all site personnel.
  • Raise safety observations, incident reports, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with consultants, PMC, and client representatives during HSE inspections and audits.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare reports with corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor housekeeping standards and ensure safe storage of materials and equipment.
  • Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, permits, training records, and statutory documentation.
  • Support emergency response planning, drills, and evacuation procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of HSE experience in interior fit-out and MEP projects.
  • NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and construction safety requirements.
  • Experience working with consultants, PMC teams, and subcontractors on fit-out
