QHSE TECHNICIAN

Currently based in Stonehouse, the Company has grown over the past 10 years and. during 2025 will be moving to a larger and improved production facility in Gloucester.
The QHSE Technician supports the day-to-day implementation of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures across engineering operations.
For this role you will need to have a good level of education along with demonstrable experience of working in a QHSE or technician role within an engineering, manufacturing or construction environment. A NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) would be an advantage along with an engineering or technical apprenticeship or HNC/HND.
You will be familiar with QHSE software or digital reporting tools and have experience with ISO 9001/14001/45001 systems.

The main duties of the role are:

  • Ensure processes and equipment are capable and safe to meet the client specification (ITP).
  • Act as a QHSE rep in the development and delivery of process improvement, training, toolbox talks, Quality Alerts, KPI reports, QHSE inductions etc
  • Support the timely execution of NCR investigations by gathering and checking evidence, documentation, statements, facilitating root cause analysis and corrective actions implementation.
  • Support with QHSE reporting, document control, and data entry and analysis.
  • Perform regular site, workshop, office, and system audits to monitor compliance with QMS and address any non-conformances or hazards.
  • Develop and input to work instructions, risk assessments, HAZOPs, and QHSE documentation.
  • Maintain QHSE records including document updates, checklists, logs, reports, and training records.
  • Support the QHSE Manager in preparing for audits and attaining \ maintaining ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 compliance.
  • Promote a strong Quality culture on the shop floor and site through regular engagement with teams and clear communication of expectations.
