Founded as Boulder Hospice in 1976, TRU Community Care is a nonprofit healthcare organization serving Boulder, Denver, and surrounding counties. With a mission to affirm life at every step of the journey with illness and loss, TRU provides a continuum of care through TRU Hospice, TRU PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly), TRU Palliative Care, TRU Grief Services, and Landmark Memory Care. Location: Landmark Memory Care Caregiver Pay (3 Months, until QMAP earned): $18.31 to $22.59 per hour QMAP Certified Pay: $21.17 to $25.18 per hour Shift: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday from 7:45am-8:15pm JOB SUMMARY The Caregiver/QMAP is responsible for providing personal services to assigned patients. Provide direct patient care, collaborate with the other Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) members within the care team, and with other health care providers in various care settings. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS Must possess a high school diploma or GED. 1 year of caregiving experience. QMAP highly preferred, but not required to start. QMAP must be obtained within 90 days of hire (we will reimburse exam costs) CPR and First Aid certification required, or must be obtained within 90 days of hire. Knowledgeable of emergency procedures. Ability to stay calm in emergency situations. Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain professional and courteous relationships with patients, families, and visitors. Professionalism and ability to be discreet with confidential and sensitive issues.
