As a QSHE professional, you have an important contribution to the safe and healthy working environment of our employees and the safety of the products our customers entrust to us. The purpose of the position is to (further) develop, manage and monitor the quality, health & safety and environmental management systems for our dynamic site with the specific customer requirements. A proactive contribution to the development, standardization, optimization and assurance of organization-wide business processes is required. To achieve this, you will be given a great deal of trust, freedom and personal responsibility. Ownership and initiative are also expected of you.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • HBO education or similar
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Leadership and change management skills;
  • Result-oriented and decisive;
  • Sound experience in a (leadership) position within QSHE management, preferably in a logistics environment;
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations;
  • Knowledge / certificates with regards safety & Health are a pro

Responsibilities
  • Updating and maintaining current procedures and quality manuals;
  • Improve and guarantee health and safety, quality and environmental policy and set standards;
  • Coordinate internal and external audits regarding quality and safety legislation and guidelines;
  • Ensure that certifications, permits and licenses to operate are in place and extended as needed;
  • Track legal changes in relation to the company’s activities and (re)act to them.
  • Develop and share QSHE vision and strategy with the organization;
  • Provide guidance and support to quality auditors/quality inspectors;
  • Train employees on safety, health, quality and environment;
  • Establish and maintain an internal emergency organization;
  • Analyze and report customer complaints, and set up improvement plans as a result;
  • Taking seat in and Coaching, informing and advising local MT regarding QSHE subjects;
  • Drafting and maintaining annual (strategic) plans;
  • Drive continuous improvement by sharing best practices and promoting standardization;
  • Maintain relevant network within the region.
