WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a QTS Primary Teacher in Hertfordshire who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has experience working in a primary school setting.
  • Has a proven ability to deliver engaging and accessible lessons across the primary curriculum.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, or other SEN within a mainstream setting.
  • Brings excellent classroom management skills and a positive, resilient attitude.
  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
  • Is passionate about inclusion, child-centred learning, and making a genuine difference.
Responsibilities

As a QTS Primary Teacher in Hertfordshire, you will:

  • Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs such as Autism and ADHD.
  • Establish a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and personal growth.
  • Use assessment tools effectively to track progress, set targets, and inform teaching strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with the SENCO, support staff, and parents to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.
  • Promote behaviour regulation strategies and inclusive practices to engage all learners in the curriculum.
