Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

As an Accountant for the Irish Life Group, you will be a key member of the Finance Team that is responsible for delivering excellent support, expertise and high-quality information to our local and global leadership teams in a consistent way to avoid ‘no-surprises’.
Reporting to the Finance Manager in the Finance Centre of Excellence, you will act as a key member of the team responsible for our financial reporting requirements, while working closely with various Functions across the Irish Life Group.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE

The ideal candidate will have/will be:

  • Recently qualified Accountant
  • Minimum 3 years post qualification experience
  • Experience with SAP an advantage
  • Keen interest in finance systems and data analysis tools
  • Ability and desire to deliver process improvement
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
