In this pivotal role, you will: Support the Defence Fuel Network across Australia, ensuring operational excellence and reliability. The Role Reporting through to the Operations Supervisor, your day-day duties will include; Operate fuel tanker truck around the fuel installation and the defence base Work closely with operator to safely load your fuel tank truck with required fuel Deliver the fuel to the designated fuel point i.e., refuelling point, aircraft on the runway etc Operate pumps on tanker truck to ensure effective delivery of fuel to aircraft Communicate with internal and external team to ensure good customer experience What you Need You will be a strong team player, a self-starter and dedicated employee that will draw on your experience and diverse skills to deliver high quality outcomes for UGL and our customer. We expect the successful applicants to have the following MC/HC Drivers Licence and Dangerous Goods Handling Licence essential Proven experience operating heavy vehicles is essential Experience in the fuel service and/or defence industry will be highly regarded Good communicator and ability to work in a diverse team Current holder, or ability to obtain relevant security clearances What we Offer This is an opportunity to join UGL as a full-time employee, on a long-term contract within the Defence sector.
