Whilst Defence and Fuel Industry experience may be advantageous, UGL’s training and development programs enable entry into the industry. Our training will equip you with the skills that enable you to perform your role safely. Training will include the opportunity to attend specialised interstate facilities at various times throughout your career with UGL combined with both onsite and offsite training locally. The Role Reporting through to the Operations Supervisor, your day-day duties will include; Support the Defence Fuel Network across Australia, ensuring operational excellence and reliability. Carry out before use inspections of refuelling vehicles, equipment, and documentation to ensure operational readiness. Conduct daily fuel quality checks in line with safe work procedures, (SWPs) to ensure fuel is free from water and contaminants. Safely approach and refuel Australian and international military aircraft, establishing exclusion zones, bonding equipment, and observing all aviation safety requirements. Complete all post refuelling documentation, including meter readings and customer sign‑off, and report hazards or incidents promptly. What you Need Attributes that you will bring to support our team would include; self-starter and team player capabilities along with dedication to the vital role we perform in supporting our Defence Force to deliver high quality outcomes for UGL.
