ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking committed Casual qualified Carers to join the Care team at our Moran Kellyville home.

  • Morning shift : 07:00am to 13:30pm/15:00pm
  • Afternoon shift: 15:00pm/15:30pm to 23:00pm.
  • Night shift: 23:00pm to 07:00am

Reporting to the Registered Nurse in Charge you will be providing quality care and support to residents living in our residential home Moran provides 24-hour RN nursing coverage, so clinical support and leadership is always available to carers.
You will be supported and mentored to ensure you thrive in your role with us. You will work with a great team of dedicated people and your contribution will make a difference to our residents’ enjoyment of their life every day. Moran offers a rewarding work environment consisting of modern facilities and equipment and supports individuals to further develop their skills.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENT:

  • Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support
  • Minimum 6 months experience
  • Commitment to providing a high standard of care and service
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team and be supportive of your colleagues
  • Basic computer skills
  • Valid working visa
  • Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination
  • Highly organised with strong planning skills.
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Providing high quality essential care, personal assistance and emotional support to our residents in accordance with the individual resident’s care plan. Be part of the night shift care team, working together to support resident overnight care needs and preparations for the following day’s shift.

  • Maintain effective communication in the workplace, being respectful, open to change and kind in your approach.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation and report information to relevant Nursing, Allied Health and Management as required.
