JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced dental nurse who can fulfil the role of a dental nurse .Qualities required are must be enthusiastic, trustworthy, and smart in appearance. You must be a team player and have a positive, encouraging attitude, come and join our friendly team.
We are looking for some one who is qualified oral health champion to hold clinics within the practice and work along side other oral health champions within the group, or willing to undertake training for this role.
We are a busy NHS practice that also offers private treatments and are trying to implement a preventative pathway for all our patients. We are fully computerised with SOE and use a digital x-ray system.
You will receive ongoing support, in house training with core CPD requirements, and GDC Certificate paid yearly.

Daily duties include:

• Setting up and preparing the surgery before the start of each session
• Preparing materials and assisting the dentist during dental procedures chairside
• Decontamination and sterilisation of instruments
• maintaining equipment
• being responsible for infection control in the dental surgery.
• You will be motivated, organised, and a good communicator.
• You will thrive upon maintaining good standards and will drive to constantly deliver and improve the patient journey in line with -White Rose Dental Practice Visions and Values
• Hold clinics within work hours and offer support to the dentists and offer patient’s preventative care.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality, and uphold ethical standards.
• Encourage patient’s engagement with flexible commissioning and liaise with reception to arrange appointments.

We are dual practice; you will receive ongoing support from our head nurse and practice manager.
Good location ,close to motorway, railway way station within 2 minutes walk and many free parking nearby.
GDC registered Nurse, OHC qualified or willing to undertake training and complete course.
