QUALIFIED DENTAL NURSE (EXPERIENCED TRAINEE APPLICATIONS ACCEPTED)

Salary: negotiable, based on experience.
Hours:negotiable and open to discussion, potential for part time or full-time hours.
The practice is located in the idyllic picturesque town of Stockbridge, Hampshire, only a short distance from Salisbury, Romsey, Andover, or Winchester. River Dental is a beautiful boutique style fully private state of the art modern four surgery practice located on the River Test in Stockbridge. We are well established and have an excellent reputation for our patient care, being winners of Best Patient Care and Practice Of The Year awards at The Private Dentistry Awards.
Alongside general dentistry we offer specialties including Endodontics, Implants, Periodontics and Prosthodontics.

ACADEMIC OR TRADE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • NVQ Level 3 Qualified Dental Nurse or equivalent
  • GDC Registration

WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • NVQ Level 3 Qualified Dental Nurse or equivalent with GDC registration
  • Experience working alongside a Specialist is desirable
  • Experience with SOE is desirable
  • Can do attitude with the ability to make own decisions to make positive changes in the practice.
  • Willing to be flexible with hours possibility of working Weekends/Evenings.

Responsibilities

· Assisting the dentists and Specialists with all clinical aspects of the surgery

· To provide excellent patient care

  • Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
  • Continually evaluate the needs of patients and specialist and deal with them promptly and efficiently
  • Assist in the completion of patient records

· Maintain high levels of cross infection controls and materials
· Perform all duties in line with the Code of Ethics. CQC and GDC Standards

· To assist on reception to complete administration duties

  • Establish and maintain productive working relationships with the dental team
